Ahh what a fun week and weekend we had! Paul and I finally made it into Seattle again to get my mom her mothers day gift! We are getting her a whole fish straight from the puget sound! Haha thats what she likes so we ventured down to figure out all the details! We of course took Dexter because he hates to be alone and doesn't do well without his mama! Which just makes my heart melt because he always wants to be with me! So Paul and I took him with us. He had a great time in the city although it was soooo windy and he had to be carried the whole time because he didn't like all the feet around him. And everyone I mean everyone wanted to be his friend. We were sucsesful with the fish expo and got one of my mothers day presents down! hurray! Paul and I then headed back to Tacoma to pick up his car from getting fixed again! When we went in to pick up the keys we found the most gigantic Great Dane I have ever seen. She was huge and totally awesome. Dexter had no idea what to think of her because she was so big, for the first time ever he was not interested in meeting her and just hide under a chair. Paul and I decided to even the playing field and we put him up on a chair so he could atleast see her face. He was totally ok with that and started to bat at her face and tried to play with her. This was so funny because her head was the size of his little body! She could knock him over with her head which was so funny to watch. By the time we got out of there Dexter was in love and totally cover in slobber! We were able to go out that night with Paul's cousin and his wife Ally. It was so much fun to get out of the house and have some fun! The start of this week has been crazy....I get to go home on Sunday for two weeks and I can't wait! But now that I have my little baby it complicates things just a smig! Getting Dexter ready to fly on the plane has been the most stressful thing about flying in the last year I think. I had to take him into the vet to get a certificate that says he is healthy and can fly. We were just in the vet a week in half ago and Dexter weighed 9.9 pounds well yesterday he weighed 13.5 pounds! HOLY MOLY this dog is growing so fast I don't even know what to do with him haha!
Dexter is so smart he FINALLY learned how to go down the stair which is making my life so much easier that now he can tell me when he has to go to the bathroom cause he goes to the top of the stairs and looks at me! What a blessing! I am so lucky that he is smart otherwise I just might kill him! He is my little baby and lights up my life. I can't wait till I get to take him home and show him off to my mom and dad because they are just gunna die for their newsest grandpuppy!

p90x
Paul and I have both decided that we have gotten fat...haha so we have are gunna get our butts in gear before summer super settles in! I am really excited that we are gunna take on the challenge but super scared lol. Paul's older brother and his wife have been doing it and they love it so I am taking on the challenge. We are both gunna take before and after pictures and I will spare you from seeing them because I am so pale and big that even I would kill over if I saw them... It was a good week this week. Dexter had his first vet appointment, first off I don't even like to go to the doctor so I was nervous to go and Paul wasn't there and I thought he was going to be so it made me more nervous. We went into the office and right when we walked in there was another dog crying. Dexter looked at me with his dark blue eyes and was like MOM where did you take me??? So of course I felt bad. We went into the room and started filling out paper work and then the vet came in. She was super nice and Dexter really liked her. He is 9 weeks old and weighs 9.9 pounds she also proceed to tell me that Dexter was one of the most beautiful Boxers that she has ever seen.. you don't have to tell me twice how handsome my dog is! All in all he was in perfect health and heading on the right track for being the most awesome dog ever. Paul came home Thursday night and it was so nice to have him back home with us. We took Dexter on a walk and he is starting to do so well on his leash. We walked him to the beach and he met two pugs and he was in love. They were running around playing with each other, he wasn't ready to head towards the water but I am thankful for that because it was super smelly..... He is doing so well we are super proud of him Dexter is literally the best dog ever! We got to spend some time with Andrea, Paul's older sister and his mom on saturday night had some lovely Olive Garden so it was a good time. Paul left this afternoon which is lame but what do you do, hopefully its only 12 more weeks. Thankfully have my friends from home and Alexandra saved my sanity. I am so thankful to have such good friends who know to call and I don't even have to say anything. I am counting my blessing. From this point on I am investing in myself and I am going to make some changes and not feel bad for myself!

HURRAY FOR MY BABY!
My life in Washington is considerably different from what it was is in vegas. I am not working at the moment which is unusal for me because I have always worked. Which is nice because now I have made head way in cooking. I have actually been able to replicate some of my mothers famous cooking which is absoulutly amazing for me to even kind of compare. Dexter has been making huge strides in his learning ability. He is almost completly potty trained and now only wakes up once a night which is nice because we also wake up at six when he is ready to play....Paul's older sister Andrea came into town with our 9 month old neice Penelope, and let me tell you both Dexter and Penny fell in love with each other. Penny was laughing so hard and Dexter was so amazing no problems at all with the baby he was wagging his tail so hard he loved her! This made me so happy because he does so well with babies....gives me hope for when Paul and I decided to have a baby....haha no time soon though. He also learned how to sit on command today it is really amazing just how smart he is....Having Dexter around is like having a baby, I wake up at least once a night to take him to the bathroom, wake up early in the morning to feed him and play, then make sure he doesn't mess in the house. All he does is eat, sleep, and poop but I will take that its good training.

My boys!
I am so happy to have my two boys home again! Paul made it home last night and Dexter was beyond excited to see his daddy. Things this week were quite the challenge with having a new baby in the house. Apparently you have to be watching them every second haha this is going to be good practice for when I actually decided to have a baby....He is so sweet and spoiled we already let him sleep in the bed, but that's ok because Paul isn't home 4 nights out of the week haha. There was a lot of whoops and dang it coming out of my mouth this week as I tried to pay more attention haha.... But he is doing well, he rides in cars and goes to doctors appointments with myself and Bonnie (Paul's mom). He is the best boy and for sure made this week a whole lot easier without Paul. Its been a good week in Washington the sun has shown for the last couple days and was exactly what I needed.... So thankful its Friday and I get another day with Paul.... ahh life is good!

Wow Weekend
What an awesome weekend Paul and I just had. Dave and Kenzie came to town, and we all went to the Muse concert at key arena on Friday night......it was literally mind blowing... the most amazing concert I have ever been too! It was way to much fun! Saturday held even more adventures! First off we came outside and we saw that we had a flat tire on Paul's car of course yet another thing to fix on that stupid car haha...... anyways so we got the car fixed but we also picked up DEXTER THE GREAT! Our beautiful boxer baby! He is literally a dream and I am so happy to have him with us. He is so funny to watch as he walks around and plays with Paul and I it is some serious love let me tell you .....and its just a little easier then having a baby haha! Paul left after confrence to head back to his job 3 hours away.....it was hard this week. It sucks when you really like spending time with your husband but you only get 2 days out of the week.....haha thats what happens when you start at the bottom of the food change i suppose...i miss him so bad! good thing i have my new baby to look after, its gunna be a challenge not to let him sleep in the bed with me!

Seriously? FML
I am so frustrated...ever get the feeling where you just want to call your mom and dad and just cry because you just heard at dinner that your husband will be offically working 5 days a week in a city that you are not in. Yea sometimes I just don't want to keep looking on the brightside of everything. Paul is working in Hanford four days a week, he comes home on thursday nights and then we get the weekend. Well now he won't get home till Friday night at like 8 and then leave on Sunday at 2. I hate this, I was not expecting life to be like this.
